Contra el olvido: Rosa Yagán y la revitalización del legado cultural. Subversión y resistencia ante la invisibilización

Resumen

A partir de una historia oficial que ha propiciado un desconocimiento sobre los yaganes, esta investigación propone que en Rosa Yagán. El último eslabón existe un ímpetu por subvertir los discursos que han avalado su invisibilización. En este contexto, serán expuestos rasgos que demuestran responsabilidades en su drástica disminución y un ímpetu por otorgar información acerca de su desarrollo cultural. Esto último demostrando un ánimo no solo de responsabilizar a los culpables en el desmedro de esta cultura, sino también de visibilizar pueblos remotos que han sido escasamente considerados en la historia nacional. La recurrencia en la exposición de información de la cultura yagán es leída como un gesto de resistencia ante políticas que han contribuido al olvido del patrimonio de esta etnia.

El artículo trabaja con la noción de interculturalidad y su vínculo con la literatura, se focaliza en la creación híbrida, en el uso de una transtextualidad que recoge diversas disciplinas para la construcción textual. Todo esto es atravesado por implicancias en torno al testimonio que plantean la asunción de sectores marginados y la visibilización de problemáticas acalladas.

Against oblivion: Rosa Yagán and the revitalization of cultural legacy. Subversion and resistance to invisibility

Abstract
Based on an official history that has fostered a lack of awareness about the Yagan people, this research proposes that Rosa Yagán. El último eslabón embodies a drive to subvert the narratives that have endorsed their invisibility. In this context, certain elements will be exposed that demonstrate responsibilities for their drastic decline and a determination to provide information about their cultural development. The latter reflects not only a desire to hold accountable those responsible for the detriment of this culture, but also to bring visibility to remote peoples who have been scarcely considered in national history. The recurring dissemination of information about Yagan culture is interpreted as an act of resistance against policies that have contributed to the erasure of this ethnic group’s heritage.

The article works with the notion of interculturality and its connection to literature, focusing on hybrid creation and the use of a “transtextuality”, which integrates various disciplines into the textual construction. This is framed by implications surrounding testimony, addressing the recognition of marginalized groups and the visibility of silenced issues.
