Los parlamentos mapuche en la literatura científica

Abstract

Los tratados que la sociedad mapuche llevó a cabo con la Corona de España, la república de Chile y la república de Argentina son la resultante de un “proceso dialéctico” desarrollado entre sociedades en guerra. Dicho proceso facilitó la creación de un espacio de negociaciones etnopolíticas que se desarrollaron durante más tres siglos, y que los mapuche, desde tiempos inmemoriales denominaban “Koyang”. El resultado de esto será el haberse realizado 68 parlamentos (tratados) con la Corona de España; 40 con la república de Argentina: 22 con la república de Chile; 3 con Holanda y 3 con Orélie Antoine, Rey de la Araucanía y Patagonia. En el presente ensayo abordaremos cómo esto, ha sido tratado en la literatura científica.

Abstract
The treaties of the Mapuche society have signed with the Spanish Crown, the Republic of Chile and the Republic of Argentina are the result of the dialetical process developed between societies at war. This process helped in the creation of a space where they developed an ethnopolitical mechanism over the course of three centuries named Koyang. The result of this were 68 treaties signed with the Spanish Crown, 40 with the Republic of Argentina, 22 with the Republic of Chile, 3 with Holland and 3 with Orélie Antoine who was the king of the Araucania and Patagonia. In this essay I try to show how this process has been treated through the analisis of scientific literature.
