Aproximaciones a la subalternización mapuche-williche: discursos y prácticas de resistencia. Fines del siglo XIX y principios del XX

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo busca investigar las formas en que la sociedad mapuche-williche se adaptó y resistió a la sociedad hispano-criolla chilena que la había conquistado hace no más de cien años. Para esto se buscará aproximarse a los discursos y prácticas de resistencia adoptados por los mapuche-williche entre fines del siglo XIX y principios del XX, momento en que podemos ver a esta parte del pueblo mapuche adaptarse a los códigos discursivos del hispano-criollo chileno y ocuparlos a su favor, buscando cambiar relaciones de poder desfavorables, proceso al que llamaremos subalternización. Esta aproximación, en una primera parte, enfatizará en los discursos y prácticas de resistencia mapuche-williche y, luego, en los aportes teóricos a la historia mapuche-williche.

Approximations to the Mapuche-Williche Subalternation: Speeches and Practices of Resistance. End of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th.

Abstract
The following work investigates the forms in which the Mapuche-Williche society adapted to and resisted the Spanish-Creole Chilean society that conquered it not more than a hundred years ago. We will seek to approach the speeches and practices of resistance adopted by the Mapuche-Williche people in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when this part of the Mapuche people can be seen to adapt to the discursive codes of the Chilean Spanish-Creole society and occupy them in their favour, seeking to change unfavorable relationships of power, process that we will call subalternation. In the first part, this approximation will emphasize the speeches and practices of Mapuche-Williche resistance and, then, the theoretical contributions to the Mapuche-Williche history.
