"Reducciones" de Jaime Huenún: topofilias de la memoria y de la tragedia frente a un espacio reducido

Abstract

El propósito del siguiente artículo es emprender una lectura del poemario Reducciones (2012) de Jaime Huenún Villa desde los conceptos desarrollados por Yi Fu Tuan en Topofilia (2007), a saber, los lazos afectivos que unen al ser humano y su entorno. Ayudados por la noción de Topofilia, sostenemos que es posible rastrear en los poemas de Huenún, lo que llamaremos: “topofilias de la memoria” y “topofilias de la tragedia” como una forma de sobreponerse a las reducciones históricas sufridas por el pueblo mapuche. Sembrando, en terrenos asolados y colonizados, visiones amorosas, positivas y esperanzadoras.

Reducciones by Jaime Huenún: topophilia of the memory and topophilia of the tragedy against a reduced space

Abstract
The purpose of this article is to undertaken a Reading of Reducciones (2012) by Jaime Huenún Villa, by deploying the concepts of Yi-Fu Tuan in Topophilia (2007), a term that includes all of the human being’s affective ties with the material environment. Helped by the notion of Topophilia, we argue that is possible to follow, what we will call: “topophiliaof the memory” and “topophilia of the tragedy” as a way of overcoming the historical reductions suffered by the Mapuche people. Sowing, in desolate and colonized lands, loving, positive and hopeful visions.
